Our Returns & Refund Policy
At American Quality Used Auto Parts, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 30-day return window (from the date of delivery) for most parts, subject to the conditions below.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, you must contact us at info@americanqualityusedautoparts.com or +1 708-960-9015 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent back to us without first requesting an RMA will not be accepted.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we shipped the wrong part). Please see our Return Shipping Policy for more details.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you as to whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping (even if initially offered as "free shipping") will be deducted from your refund.
Restocking Fees
All returns that are not due to our error (e.g., you ordered the wrong part, you no longer need the part) are subject to a 25% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You must report any shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:
- Fluids, chemicals, and sealants.
- Electrical parts that have been installed or plugged in.
- Special-order items.
- Parts that have been installed, modified, or disassembled.
We also do not accept returns on gift cards.
